If not, you can send the gun to Ithica and they will fit the barrel to it. The difference is the thread pitch. I have 2 Ithaca's from the late 1940's in 16 gauge. I refinished and tubed one with steel safe choke tubes. I have a lot of bismuth shot as well to feed the other. I bought a short skeet barrel for my son's M37 from the late 60's, another 16 gauge, and steel 4's for ducks have not hurt its rotoforged barrel. It cost me $50
