I don't know if the issue exists with the 2005, but the rear wiper motor on my 2004 Pilot was failing and it blew the fuse shared with the SRS system. I replaced the fuse, reset the SRS light, and didn't use the rear wiper until I was able to replace it and haven't had a problem since then. yes my rear wiper is working fine.
