The biggest concern I have with it and any other Turkish single trigger shotgun is that the trigger pulls can be too high.

Thanks for the input. I've looked into the cz bobwhite but I'm not wild about double triggers... I bought my girlfriend a Tristar Uplander in 20 gauge last year and I found it quite comfortable and functional (not forgetting to mention attractive). The bristol is more money so was just seeing if anybody could give me a quick review.

The CZ SXS's lightened to 3 1/2# would be prone to doubling as the only way to get them that light would be dangerously shallow sear engagement or modifying the sear engagement angle. Judicious stoning and polishing engagement surfaces combined with a small decrease in sear engagement will produce a 4 1/2 to 5# trigger that is smooth and reliable.

It replaced the Ringneck that did have some issue with the firing pins and springs but both those issues were addressed with the Sharptail especially when it come to the trigger which was greatly improved. It is our only SxS in .16ga that we offer at the time. I've had the bobwhite 20ga for a few seasons and it is an awesome grouse gun, the dimensions and weight are ideal for thick covers and long walks.
