Hi, i recently came across a Ps3 CECHA01 backwards comptaible system from a friend but when i tested it out, it doesn't read any of my PS2 games. I updated the system software but no dice. Wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. Not sure if resetting to factory settings would help. DVD lens is burnt out, a laser replacement would fix this.The only real way to fix this is to clean the dust out and replace the thermal paste. It was manufactured in March 2007.
