Feb 22, 2017 · P0299. Here we go again. Ive had a 2013 Cruze 1.4 for about 6000 miles. So far I've been lucky (turbo oil line replace, purge valve replace). Drove from Illinois to Texas yesterday for work and about half way here, check engine light came on. Just had it looked at and comes back to P0299. One of the reasons for a P0299 fault code is the turbo may be experiencing low boost output. The ECU looks for a specific boost range, and when the ECU detects the low boost, it sets a P0299 code.
