Feb 9, 2008 · Problem solved. It appears that the inside of the eyelet of the carrier spring is worn or the post it sits on in the trigger housing is worn, maybe a bit of both. The result is a spring that will slide off the carry assy contact point after one or two discharges. The spring wedges itself between the carrier assy and the receiver wall cavity. my hypothesis is that the bolt latch assembly is bent and causing the latch to not engage properly. if i put my hand on the inside of the receiver and apply pressure to … Looking to get the new production Browning A5.
