Housing can only be valid if you place the walls and and bottom/sides/roof (as far as I've noticed). Good luck fixing it and enjoy Terraria. Platforms are not valid standing space, and neither are "open" trap doors. Closed trap doors, however, do qualify. I’m confused, you can make houses 5x13 with the floor being 2 platforms and a block. Those work fine with the whole floor being taken up by a crafting table and a chair, so it’s obviously not open floor space that’s the issue.
