There's no position to it, push it forward and you could get park or reverse or neutral from drive, depending on how hard/far you push, but then it returns back to center... So push it lightly from drive, you get neutral, and it goes back to center, push it lightly again, goes to reverse, lightly again, park.

My 2014 Ram 1500 dashboard dial shifter was stuck in park. I turned the dial to drive and the orange/yellow light was flashing on the "D". I also tried reverse and the same thing happened. The only way I was able to get my truck to drive forward was by putting my truck in 4WD Low. The next morning it worked normally.
