The difference is really adjustability of the system and the bling factor. The ohlins have better adjustability then the showa's. For somebody who is racing, thats a nice feature to have. The Ohlins are a great product. So are the WP. Craftsmanship is definitely higher on the WP stuff and the concept in how they function differs. The Ohlins are a solid older design that works very well. The WP is a newer design that also works very well. I would encourage you to get a set through Powerband (I know I sound like a broken record).
