May 28, 2023 · Inventory Tetris is a comprehensive inventory overhaul for Project Zomboid. The inventory is replaced with a grid based system. All items now have a size. Bags now provide additional inventory space, not just weight reduction. Worn items do not take up inventory space. No more shoving 3 boxes of cereal and a carton of milk in your pants. Got me thinking about spicing up our Project Zomboid gameplay with the upcoming Build 42. I'm brainstorming some server mods to recreate that isolation vibe with friends. Thinking of removing or having the occasional 1-3 zombies pop up randomly for a more chill experience, and maybe hunting for a nature-themed map/game-play.Showcasing the quality of life Mod improvement around opening cans! I honestly don't know another game that updates at such a slow pace as Zomboid - the wait is just ridiculous at this point. There's certainly some stuff planned for B42 that can be released separately.

In 3 days it will be one year since the last Project Zomboid update. I think that it is already possible to release a beta branch to at least test the capabilities of the new build. Personally, I'm hungry for new content, and I'm grinding the existing mechanics to pieces.
