Failed NCLEX in 75 : (. Hi everyone! I was scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN yesterday and found out I failed this morning. My exam shut off at 75 questions with about 12 select all that apply, 2 med math, 2 drag and drops. I feel awful, embarrassed, and incompetent. I must've been doing terrible if I failed in the minimum.I took my NCLEX late June and failed. Did the whole 145 questions and got the result the next day. I was DESTROYED. I had to postpone my start date and everything. However, I retook it in august and passed in 92 questions! One student with me stopped at 145 questions did the PVT and had a good pop up. I was hesitant to do it but ended up doing. I got a bad pop up unfortunately 😭. Feeling so devastated.I took their CAT exam and got in the 91 percentile of passing. Took my NCLEX mid FEB and failed with 145 questions. I feel as if my anxiety got the best of me the first time around because I was for sure freaking out during and felt like I psyched myself out on the questions. Once I failed I took about a 2 week break and started again.Since the minimum number of questions you'll take on the NCLEX is 75, and the maximum is 145, this could happen at any point between those 2 numbers. Theoretically, the computer could know from your first 75 questions that you failed and stop giving you more, or it could know that you passed.I got 145 questions which worried me, but i didn't let it get me down! The questions and the options both were straightforward. There were questions that made you pick between close options (neuro/abc). But if you read the questions carefully, you'd know one option is clearly better than the other, Idk if that makes sense.
