I tried moving our router(it’s a modem + router in 1 device) to my room and using the coax outlet there, router powered on but wouldn’t broadcast a connection. Tried it on another coax outlet, didn’t work either. The videos I’ve watched shows you need the coax splitter to connect my rooms coax line to make it active.
