The same could technically be true for Gibson as well, but their QC issues aren't nearly as bad as Firefly's are as far as I can tell. Firefly guitars aren't Gibson killers IMO. At best they might be Epiphone killers, but even that's assuming that you get one of the good ones, which is far from guaranteed.
