Can you wear crown of Barenziah? You have to find this during or after the main quest: Diplomatic Immunity. You can also find this by going back to Thalmor Embassy by fast travel. Once there, you can pick the gate open, there are about 3 Thalmor in the front yard and about 3 in back.

I believe it's at the bottom on the left side of the mountain that the Embassy's on. Not 100% sure though. But it would be marked as a door on the local map. Find a girl that doesnt wash much. Shit. There's a cave near the north side of the embassy, called Reeking Cave. There's no marker for it, so it can be a little hard to find, but the stone is in there. I might be wrong but i think a later patch moved the stone to the cave you make your escape through, near a troll (so that the stone would be available outside of the embassy quest). Might be an unofficial patch for PC though but you might want to check. It's in the cave where the frost troll is right as you exit the dungeon.If you find an Unusual Gem while questing, you'll get a miscellaneous quest urging you to get the gem appraised. The stone isn't in the Embassy, it's in the cave you exit into next to a corpse. The stone *was* in the embassy, but Bethesda moved it somewhere between launch and the release of legendary edition. It moved when I switched to legendary back on my 360. It's in reeking cave.
