A common boss killing on defect is looping a massive dark orb and doing a one turn kill, which is obviously not possible with the heart. I have killed the heart on Defect with dark orbs but it involved the card recursion and not committing to one huge dark orb, but several medium ones. The heart requires a mix of consistent damage, and good block.
