I'm thinking about turning a Mossberg Shockwave into a SBS. Seems to have a lot going for it being a 590 with a 14" barrel. Plus it will give me a fun short toy while I'm waiting forever on a stamp. Any issues on using the Shockwave for a SBS build since it isn't a shotgun to begin with?

But the Shockwave is originally manufactured with no stock (something the writers of the NFA didn't anticipate), so under the NFA definitions it can't be a shotgun.
