JC45. Alex, if you do use a punch, I would recommend putting a piece of tape over the tip of the punch to avoid marks on the sight. Something like electrical tape. If you buy a sight pusher I would also put a strip of tape on each side of the slide before tightening the screws to hold the slide in place.Looks very similar to my 1911. Push the firing pin in from the back and slide the lock plate down. Be careful when removing the lock plate that you don't launch the pin. Not sure how strong that spring is. That is the way to remove the firing pin from the Micro 9. As noted, make sure you keep a finger over the area so you don't launch the spring.
